Frequently asked questions.
Short answers about choosing a service, fees, timelines and what to expect.
Choosing a service
How do I choose a service?
Choose the service closest to your goal. Unsure? Select “Not sure yet” and describe where you need help.
Can I choose more than one service?
Yes. Mention the services in your enquiry. Each candidate service has its own scope and fee; we clarify what is included before starting.
How is US Career Support different?
It gives you US role expectations, the gaps in your preparation and a search plan. Resume, LinkedIn, interview and application work are separate services, charged separately unless included in your agreed scope.
Are interview preparation and application support the same?
No. Interview Preparation gives you practice sessions, feedback and notes. Job Application Support covers preparation and submission within agreed roles and locations, with updates about recruiter interest or interviews.
Fees and timelines
How much does it cost?
Fees are agreed directly before work begins. Candidate services are charged separately; employer recruitment is quoted against the hiring brief. Payment arrangements are recorded in your service agreement. This website takes no payments.
How long does it take?
Delivery timing, session counts and support periods are agreed individually before work begins.
Can I cancel?
Cancellation and refund terms are explained in your service agreement before work begins.
Working together
Will I get updates?
Communication and progress updates are part of the service plan. We agree the channel, frequency and support period before starting.
Are revisions included?
Revision allowances and timing are agreed individually before work begins. A revision is a change to delivered work within the agreed scope. A new target role or new information counts as additional work, agreed and priced before it starts.
Does Astra submit my applications?
Yes. Astra prepares and submits applications on your behalf within agreed target roles and locations, without separate approval for each application. When we receive recruiter interest or an interview request, we update you and help coordinate the next step. Interviews and offers are not guaranteed.
What do you need from me?
Candidates provide accurate information about their experience and goals, and decide which roles to pursue. Employers provide clear role requirements and make all hiring decisions.
Limitations
Can you guarantee a job or a hire?
No. Interviews, offers and hiring decisions are made by employers, so we cannot guarantee an interview, an offer, a placement or a hire.
Do you help with visas or relocation?
No. US Career Support focuses on career planning for US roles. Visa, immigration, legal and relocation support are excluded.
